lose her id’s and money since she was flying home the next day.  Officer Chan heard the second call of a robbery and met
with victim.  Officer Chan contacted off duty Officer Choi who was working for Chinatown Parking to assist with the two
robberies.  Officer Choi was able to get more information from both victims.  Officer Choi stated that these offenders often
hang around in Chinatown Square Mall.
Officer Chan and Officer Choi along with the tact team went to look for offenders at 2228 S. Archer.  Officer Chan
brought both victims to this location where they were able to pick out three offenders.  Two were charged with Theft and
one was released since he did not take anything.  These offenders had been drinking and were intoxicated.  They are
the homeless illegal hispanics that are looking for jobs in Chinatown.  Many of them stay in the apartment above the
liquor store.  These homeless people can’t get much work, so they get desperate and commit crimes to survive.
Thanks to our chinese speaking officers and the undercover tact team, we have stopped a few more offenders from
preying on Chinatown.
